I Was Broken

I was broken
plunging into ocean’s abyss
shipwrecked, shaken and severed like tectonic plates
an unplanned mistake

internal slave of black and white
and yet my roots have cosmic depth
tip-toeing through childhood
feeling the breath of fear

a maze inside keyholes
limping plant without a stem
tick, tock, tick, knock
vanishing hand reaching for love

parallel world exists outside the chamber
the streets absorbed pain
sculptured it into destruction
a downpour of nothingness seeping into the void

and yet I am still here
rubik’s cube rotating in pandora’s box
fear and pain not locked away
but embraced and harmonised
I am 5th dimensional
